MODERN SCIENTIFIC METHOD APPLIED

The sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD,

and Satan came also among them.

Job1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.  Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Satan challenges God.

Job1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?  Job1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Job1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

God accepted Satan’s challenge and authorized Satan afflict Job, but not to kill him.  After all of Job’s afflictions and troubles, he had never blamed God nor cursed God.

Job1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand.  So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. Job 1:20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,  Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.  Job 1:22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Again the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. Job2:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. Job2:4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. Job2:5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

God again authorizes Satan to afflict Job, but this time more severely.

Job 2:6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.  Job 2:7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD,  and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Job turned to his three so-called friends and had rounds of dialogue with each of them. Job had a final plea to all three of his friends, but his so-called friends were useless to him. They were all silent.

Job 2:11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. Job 2:12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven. Job 2:13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

After all this, as recorded in the scriptures, Job never blamed God or cursed God for all of his afflictions.

Elihu, a stranger to Job, was angry with Job because he justified himself rather than God. He was angry also with the so-called three friends of Job who supplied no answers to Job and his afflictions. Job received no wisdom from his so-called friends who were of age, but yet Job received wisdom from Ehihu, although Job was much elder than he.

Job 32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. Job 32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God. Job 32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job. Job 32:4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he. Job 32:5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled. Job 32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. Job 32:7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Job had no knowledge of Satan’s challenge to God. Job had no knowledge that God had accepted Satan’s challenge. Job had no knowledge that God had authorized Satan to afflict him.

Job 38:1-2

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

 Job 38:4-5

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?

declare, if thou hast understanding.

Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest?

or who hath stretched the line upon it?

In chapters 38, 39, 40 and 41, Job is getting a lesson on the sovereignty of God, where the LORD God is basically asking Job,

Who do you think you are?

Job is getting a SCIENCE lesson from God.

The significance of and the scientific truth of the bible verse of Job 37:3 is revealed in a very recent discovery made in modern Astrophysics. In just this decade alone, astrophysicists have found that, for the first time, the cosmic rays originating galactic sources and beyond the galaxy are the direct causes for triggering of the lightning. Gamma-ray and X-ray bursts were detected nanoseconds just prior to the triggering of the lightning discharges.

This comparison of the several different Bible translations of this verse shows the true authenticity of the Holy Bible and its remarkable agreement with the recent Astrophysical findings.

Job 37:3

Job 37:3 (King James Version) He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. Job 37:3 (American Standard Version) He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightening unto the ends of the earth. Job 37:3 (New American Standard Bible) Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, And His lightning to the ends of the earth. Job 37:3 (New International Version) He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth.

Now let’s compare Job 37:3 to a recent finding in Astrophysics.

Recent Findings

Intense cosmic rays originating from galactic origins and beyond our galaxy are found to be the direct cause for the triggering of the lightning; a physical science process not fully understood, even to this day.

SCIENCE NEWS, Jan 31, 03, X-Rays Abound When Lightning Strikes

EVERY SINCE THAT DAY JUST BEFORE THE FLOOD OF NOAH WHEN ACCORDING TO

GENESIS 7:10 “…THE FOUNTAINS OF THE GREAT DEEP BROKEN UP, AND THE WINDOW OF HEAVEN WERE OPEN…”

A CONSTANT RAIN OF HIGHLY INTENSE COSMIC RAYS HAS FALLEN UPON THE EARTH AND WILL CONTINUE TO FALL UPON THE EARTH

IF THE COSMIC RAYS WERE VISIBLE TO US, THEY MIGHT APPEAR TO US AS SUCH

The highly intense cosmic ray particles are constantly raining down upon the Earth, smashing into the nuclei of the upper atmosphere, producing many highly energetic fragments of radio carbon atoms.  It is this radiation believed to be responsible for the reduced longevity of the humans on Earth immediately after the Genesis flood. Moreover, modern findings of the Space Agencies, reveal that interplanetary travel, beyond the protective shielding of the Earth’s magnetic field and the Earth’s biosphere, would expose the astronauts to severe life threatening cosmic radiation. Half the astronaut crew on a space ship would come down with terminal leukemia after years of deep space travel.

Modern research has found that about 100 particles per square inch strike our upper atmosphere every second and penetrate all living things on the Earth. For this reason, it is highly unlikely that any living organism could have survived a trip through deep space and be deposited on Earth from falling meteors are asteroids.

Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea?

or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

Recently Discovered Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vent

It is most certain that God was speaking to Job about the recently discovered deep-sea hydrothermal vents that constantly release hot water springs at temperatures greater than 330 degrees Celsius or 626 degrees Fahrenheit. Around these vents strange life forms thrive on the heat of hot vents where there is virtually no sunlight.

Deep-Sea Water Currents: Veins of the Oceans

Found to have a significant effect on the Global Climate

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (2007)

The deep sea ocean floors have been a focal point in the recent times, having to do with the climate phenomenon, climate changes and global warming. The deep-sea veins of the ocean resemble very much the blood veins of living organisms and is believed to be directly connected with weather systems on planet Earth.

Job received many more SCIENCE lessons from God,

to list a few.

Job 38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

Job 38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

Job 38:25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

Job 38:26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

Job 38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Job 38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Job 38:33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

We shall continue with some of these soon.
